MyAspiration 2014: Competition Details

Rules and regulations:

1. The competition is open to ALL INTI International College students including the Mass Communication alumni from the batch of January 2013 onwards and college students in the Klang Valley area.

2. Entrants must form a group of THREE where one member should be an INTI current student or alumni.

3. Entrants have to register online starting from 17 February 2014 until 21 February 2014. RM10 registration fee has to be paid to the organizing committee latest by 21 February 2014.

4. Entrants must attend a workshop on 22 February 2014 which will be taking place in INTI International College Subang as a preparation to kick starts the project.

5. The video must:

i. promote the UH Mass Communication Degree program by highlighting how a student will be able to achieve his/her aspiration in life by joining the program. 
ii. be in English.  
iii. be 1-3 minutes in length.  
iv. be tasteful, inspirational and representative of the mission of the school.  
v. not contain third party copyrighted material. 
vi. have an INTI logo on the upper-left hand corner and a phrase “Brought to you by School of Business (Mass Communication)” on the bottom right-hand corner of the first frame. Keep the background white. (Refer below)
vii. have a crawler at the bottom of the frame written as “This video is an initiative by UH Mass Communication Degree program” that will be looping for every 15 seconds. 
ix. be posted on Youtube and linked to the Facebook Group on 31 March 2014 latest by 11.55 pm. 

6. Videos that do not follow the above rules or deemed inappropriate will be disqualified from the competition and removed from Youtube and Facebook Group.

7. Videos will be judged on adhering to guidelines, creativity and originality, entertainment value, artistry, execution and the number of hits.

8. Results will be announced on 10 April 2014 via an e-mail. Prizes will be given away on 12 April 2014.

Prizes:

First place : RM 2000 and certificate of participation

Second place : RM 1500 and certificate of participation

Third place : RM 1000 and certificate of participation

* Entrants will be given a RM1000 tuition fee waiver which is transferable and can be used for enrolling into the UH Mass Communication Degree for April and August 2014 intake.

About the tuition free waiver:

1. You are eligible for a tuition fee waiver of RM1,000 should you join our BA (Hons) in Mass Communication, University of Herfordshire programme which is offered at INTI International College Subang.

2. This waiver is only valid either for the April 2014 intake or the August 2014 intake.

3. This waiver is not exchangeable for cash.

4. It is only applicable to new students. Students who are currently enrolled in BA (Hons) in Mass Communication, University of Hertfordshire are not eligible for this waiver.

5. This tuition fee waiver cannot be used in any other programmes offered by INTI International College Subang.

6. This tuition fee waiver is transferrable. To do this, you need to bring along the recipient to see our Education Counselors and quote ‘My Aspiration competition’.
